something i picked up from a book
To me, love should be a force that helps us expand our lives and bring out our potential with fresh vitality. This is the ideal, but all too often, people lose all objectivity when they fall in love.
The question is "Does this person inspire you to work harder, or distract you from what you have to do? Does their presence make you more determined to devote great energies to your activities, to be a better person? Do they inspire you to realise your future goals and work towards them? Or is that person your central focus, overshadowing everything else?"
If you find that you are neglecting things you should be doing, forgetting your purpose in life because of the relationship you are in, then I would guess that you might be on the wrong path. A healthy relationship, in the view, is one in which two people encourage each other to reach their respective goals, while sharing each other's hopes and dreams. A relationship should be a source of inspiration, invigoration and hope.
"Love is not two people gazing at each other, but two people looking ahead together in the same direction."
Of course, much of daily life tends to be ordinary and unexciting. And then, when you fall in love, life seems filled with drama and excitement and you feel like the leading character in a book. But if you lose yourself in love just because you are bored, and veer from your path in life, then love is nothing more than escapism. But sadly people believe that this kind of love is the be-all and end-all, deluding themselves that as long as they are in love, nothing else matters.
Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality. A shallow person will only have shallow relationships. If you want to experience real love, it is important first to develop a strong self-identity. True love is not about doing whatever the other person wants you to do, or pretending that you are something you are not. Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people.

quite alot of things happened today
we gt to know all our results except for eng paper 1
so far out of all the subjects
im most satisfied with my phy
did badly for my combined humanities
hais
if only i put in more effort..
okea lets nt talk abt results anymore
today's post exam activity is the dance performance thing
frankly i really enjoyed it
although quite a number of peeps were..
you know..sleeping (sort of)
as the dark and cool environment provided a nice atmosphere for..
zz
so i was the extra one who was alert and awake throughout the whole programme
wahahs
when we were back in school
i had to stay back
yups
its for choir
we sang a new song
it was actually nt bad
however ms choo commented that our singing turned rusty after such a long break
hmm
it was raining when we were dismissed
was happy and relieved that
someone gave me a lift

didn went for 2/3 'o4 chalet
last minute changed my mind
1. looked like it was going to rain (and it did)
2. downtown is so damn far cans
3. no mood
went swimming today
damn early jiu reached there liaos
actually the purpose for me to go swimming was to make myself more tanned

but the sun didn show up
rain did though

FUN !
played it damn lot of times
was afraid and didn wanna play intially
but thanks to my mei
she engaged me

the flow of water from that slide was not so fast as compared to the jurong east one
the jurong east one was like my heart was really gonna jump out like that

went 3/3 steamboat ytd
quite fun lehs
although we were sort of being 'iso' agn
but it was okea during the steamboat itself
ate alot of meaty and oily stuff
but quite nice larhs
during the steamboat
there was sort of 'snatching' food thingy
stupid larhs
and i think qk is really can ren
he actually put the prawn in and out of the hot soup !
wth
all gd impression of him erased liao

i just realised that he gt EARHOLE !!

when we were leaving the place rwite
me. adina. huiying. fionne and matt didn want to take bus cause v tired and leg pain
instead we went to wait for cab
then the diulian thing came
the bus actually came before there was any cab
so the 3/3 peeps were in the bus and saw us still there waiting
urghh !
i faced back (so as to lessen the xiasuay-ness)

but fionne and huiying told me that they were looking at us when the bus passed us and qk even gave that kind of fc*kin face

matt tried to call a cab cause really no choice

we finally saw some cab probably nt the one we called but well
FINALLY ! after suck a long wait
and when we were in the mrt

but we hesitated too long
cause after that many peeps came into the train

fionne was like damn disappointed
but she went up to where jason when she was abt to alight and found that he was SLEEPING !

left me alone in the train

it has been a long time since i blogged
didn have the chance (or rather i didn wan) to go online
wanted to CONCENTRATE on my studies during this critical period
1 MORE PAPER TO GO ! finally...
recently gt hooked up by a korean drama
tian guo de jie ti (stairway to heaven)
the male lead role (kwon sang woo) totally rocks !!
love him mans
that show is really SUPER nice
but i think its ending soon
every mon and tues, 10-11pm, channel u
hahs.
think i'll be going for the steamboat with 3/3 peeps
not confirmed yet though
must see whether adina gt go

hopefully i'll also be going for the 2/3 'o4 chalet
lets hope
lastly
i truely think that the guys in 3/3 (not all) are bit sick in the head
it may be because i still dont know them well
but well. its almost 1 year passed
hope things will change
i guess it's time I run far, far away; find comfort in pain,
